At The Indian Public School - Salem, safeguarding, safety and wellbeing are at the heart of our community, because when students feel safe, they can truly thrive. Every adult on campus - from facilitators to support staff and leadership -  is dedicated to protecting our learners every day, with all staff completing safeguarding training and undergoing thorough background and police checks.

At The Indian Public School - Salem, every student is entitled to feel safe, listened t, and respected, whatever their story or circumstances. Creating this sense of security is at the heart of our school culture and guides every decision we make.

Guided by the ISP Safeguarding framework and our own Safety & Security Committee, students are surrounded by trusted adults who know them well, are trained to recognise concerns early, and respond promptly and professionally. The wellbeing and best interests of the child always come first.
