A medical practitioner turned education leader, Dr. Shivkumar Chinnusamy brings extensive experience across national and international curricula. He has played a key role in expanding TIPS across multiple campuses while ensuring each remains unique in approach. With continuous learning at the core of his philosophy, he actively engages in global workshops and school visits, bringing diverse educational insights to the organisation.
Ms. Aruna Maheswari V B.com , M.com , M.A Childcare and education, MSc guidance and counselling, B. Ed , is the Principal for The Indian Public School, Salem.A commerce graduate She stepped into the world of education in 2002. She has 20+ years of experience working with Indian and Malaysian schools, honing her skills and articulation of IB, Cambridge, Waldorf and National Curricula. Her approach to education is a healthy balance of international exposure and Indian values. She is an academician who constantly learns, acquires new skills, and invests time in studying schools and education systems across the world. Her belief is that education must be well-rounded and holistic. She encourages her teams to deliver with creativity, sensitivity, nuance and a strong value system.
Her deep passion for creative arts drives her effort to curate and initiate experiences that give children joy. Her measure for an initiative’s success is the joy and meaning children discover in it.
With over 15 years of experience in IB, Waldorf and Montessori education, Ms. Parasakthi specialises in early and primary curriculum development. She is deeply committed to holistic education, strongly believing in nurturing every child’s overall well-being alongside academic excellence.
With a background in global organisations such as Infosys and Bank of America, Ms. Tamilarasi transitioned into education and has over a decade of experience across CBSE, NIOS, IB and Cambridge curricula. She leads the implementation of Cambridge programmes across TIPS campuses, fostering a research-driven environment that values student voice and purposeful learning.
A seasoned educator with 35 years of experience, Ms. Latha Maheshwari is an expert in curriculum development and academic leadership. Beginning her career as an IIT JEE Mathematics faculty member, she has held key leadership roles in education. She is known for her forward-thinking approach and commitment to integrating modern educational practices.
With over a decade of experience in education management, Ms. Maheshwari Sridhar leads key operational functions across TIPS, including administration, HR, student welfare and campus services. Starting her journey as a student counsellor, she has grown into a strategic leader known for enhancing operational excellence and student well-being through innovative practices.
My belief in educational philosophy at TIPS centers on holistic education, nurturing the intellectual, emotional, social, and ethical growth of every learner. I also value metacognition and lifelong learning, encouraging students to reflect on their critical thinking and learning, perpetually evolve, grow, and learn throughout their life.
Ms. Shalini holds a Master’s degree in Power Systems Engineering and a Diploma in Elementary Education. With over six years of experience at The Indian Public School, she is an IB-trained professional dedicated to delivering high-quality early childhood education. Currently serving as the Early Years Coordinator at the Salem campus, she brings strong leadership, creativity, and a deep understanding of young learners to her role. Passionate about teaching, she enjoys designing engaging learning experiences and creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, confident, and inspired to explore. Ms Harbinder Kaur Chauhan, Primary Years Programme Coordinator (PYPC), a visionary and empathatic leader. She holds a Master’s degree in Education. She completed her undergraduate studies in Home Science, majoring in Child Development and Family Studies, and has also earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education.She is an active member of the International Baccalaureate Educator Network (IBEN) and a certified Workshop Leader (WSL) and Evaluation Leader (EL), bringing a wealth of international expertise directly into our classrooms.With over 20 years of educational experience in international schools across the country, she is deeply committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment where every child feels seen, supported, and empowered. Beyond her role in curriculum development, she also serves as a CIS accreditation evaluator and Accreditation Chair, ensuring that the schools consistently meet and exceed the highest global standards of academic excellence and institutional integrity.Harbinder is deeply committed to inquiry-based learning and holds the belief that children excel when they are given the opportunity to take ownership of their educational journey and are encouraged to embrace their individuality. Ms. Lakshini, BCA, MCA, B.Ed., began her teaching journey in 2009 as a passionate Computer Science teacher. Over the years, she has gained rich experience in handling Computer Science for both Cambridge and CBSE curricula, guiding students with dedication, creativity, and strong academic support.
Mrs. Murugeswari is a dedicated Mathematics educator with over 21 years of teaching experience across Matric, CBSE, and Cambridge boards. For the past nine years, she has excelled as a Cambridge Mathematics Facilitator, guiding students to excellent results in IGCSE International Mathematics and AS & A Level Mathematics. She has also served as a Cambridge Exams Officer, ensuring fairness, precision, and integrity in exam administration. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), she leads the Mathematics Department with the vision “Love Math and Live Logic,” guiding her team with clarity and confidence, and coordinating the annual Math Day event.

Ms. S. Thenmozhi serves as the Health & Safety Coordinator at The Indian Public School, Salem (KG), ensuring a safe, healthy, and secure environment for young learners, staff, and visitors. She is responsible for implementing and monitoring health and safety policies in line with statutory requirements and school guidelines.
Her key duties include planning and conducting safety drills (fire, lockdown, and earthquake), overseeing accident and incident reporting, following up on audit actions, conducting internal termly checks, coordinating Health & Safety Committee activities, and ensuring the safe handling and storage of hazardous substances and tools. Working closely with school leadership and support staff, she promotes a culture of prevention and care, creating a nurturing environment where every child can learn and grow safely.

I am Poomathi Varadharajan, working at The Indian Public School, Salem, for the past 7 years as a Homeroom Teacher (HRT), and from last year, I have been serving as the Health and Safety Officer. In this role, I ensure the effective implementation of the school’s Health and Safety Policy across the campus by conducting regular safety inspections and risk assessments, monitoring safety measures in all areas, organizing fire and evacuation drills, and ensuring emergency preparedness. I investigate incidents, identify root causes, provide first aid when required, make sure it is informed to parents , and document all minor and major incidents in the ISP portal with clear details of the action taken. My responsibility is to maintain a safe, secure, and well-prepared learning environment for the entire school community.

Dhivya is a KG 2 Facilitator at TIPS, Salem, currently in her ninth year of teaching. After completing her Master’s degree in Engineering, she began her career in early years education at TIPS and has grown professionally under the guidance of the Principal and the support of the management. Hariraj S holds a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in History and a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed). He has been a valued member of the TIPS family since 2013, beginning his journey as a Physical Education Teacher and currently serving as the Head of the Department of Physical Education. Sports have always played a central role in Hariraj’s life. His primary disciplines are hockey and cricket, having represented his school in the Rural Hockey Tournament at the national level and played cricket for both his school and district teams. His sporting journey continued in college, where he represented Periyar University as a South Zone player in both hockey and cricket.
Hariraj is also a proud holder of ‘A’, ‘B’, and ‘C’ certificates from the National Cadet Corps (NCC). and has actively participated in several NCC camps.
He is a strong advocate for the holistic development of children through physical education, emphasizing how sports nurture creativity, decision-making, teamwork, and leadership skills. With a lifelong passion for sports, Hariraj is dedicated to training and inspiring students to achieve excellence both on and off the field.
Avinash A completed his M.P.Ed (Master of Physical Education) in 2015–16 and joined TIPS Salem the same year as a Physical Education Teacher and Basketball Coach. He brings 10 years of teaching and coaching experience at TIPS.
He represented the Tamil Nadu School Games Federation of India (SGFI) Basketball team during his school years and played for Periyar University at the South Zone level twice. During his post graduation, he served as Captain of the Bharathiyar University Basketball team.
Avinash is a qualified Basketball Coach approved by the Tamil Nadu Basketball Association, holds a Diploma in Yoga, and has completed a 6-week NIS Certificate Course in Basketball. He has also coached the Salem District Basketball team twice, leading them to medal-winning performances.
Eswara Moorthy M is a Physical Education Teacher specializing in badminton at TIPS. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Physical Education. He joined the TIPS team in 2022 and is currently in his fourth year of service.
He has been a district-level badminton tournament winner and has represented Periyar University in badminton tournaments, as well as Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University in both badminton and table tennis tournaments.
Eswar brings 12 years of badminton coaching experience at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, training school and college students across various academies. He is passionate about developing skills, discipline, and confidence in his students through sports.
Giri J is a Physical Education Teacher in the Department of Physical Education at The Indian Public School, Salem. He holds an M.P.Ed and M.Phil in Physical Education from TNPESU, Chennai, specializing in football. He is also an Indian Professional Football Referee, officiating matches in the I-League U13, U15, and U18 categories. He represented various universities in the Inter-University South Zone Football Tournaments from 2014 to 2017. Under his guidance, the school football team has achieved multiple winner and runner-up positions in tournaments such as Salem Sahodaya School Sports, RAIS Tournaments, and the ISSO National Games (2022–2026). Notably, nine students from the school participated in the London Football Cup and London Football Academy in 2022.
Giri is in his eighth year of service at TIPS and is passionate about mentoring students with patience and care. He encourages them to challenge themselves, stay disciplined, work hard, and pursue their passion with dedication, contributing significantly to their development through sports.
Kousalya S has a background in English Literature and holds a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education. She is currently serving as a Physical Education Teacher in the Department of Physical Education. She specializes in volleyball and has represented the Tamil Nadu Volleyball Team in 2015. She also represented Periyar University for three consecutive years (2015–2018) in the South Zone Volleyball Tournament. Kousalya joined TIPS in 2022 and is now in her fourth year of service. She is passionate about working with children and brings patience, dedication, and enthusiasm to guiding, supporting, and nurturing them through sports and physical education.
Kowsalya I holds a degree in Tamil Literature and a Bachelor’s in Physical Education and is currently serving as a Physical Education Teacher in the Department of Physical Education at TIPS.
She specializes in wrestling and has represented Tamil Nadu in the Women’s Senior National Wrestling Championships, also securing 4th place in the South Indian National Wrestling Championships.
Kowsalya joined TIPS in 2023 and is now in her third year of service, dedicated to training and mentoring students in sports and physical education.
Nithyanandhan R holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education. He has completed 6 weeks NIS course in Athletics and Swimming (ASCA) and currently serves as a Physical Education Teacher, specializing in Athletics and Swimming.He has represented the South Zone Athletics Meet (U20), the Inter Polytechnic Athletics Association State Level Meet, and participated in the prestigious CM Trophy in Swimming. Since joining TIPS in 2023, Nithyanandhan has been dedicated to nurturing students’ physical development, sportsmanship, and performance excellence. Now in his third year at TIPS, he continues to inspire young athletes through his passion and commitment to sports education.
Priyanka P holds a degree in English Literature and a Bachelor of Physical Education, combining a strong academic foundation in both liberal studies and sports sciences.
She has had an extensive sports career, representing the Tamil Nadu Football Team (2010–2014), Periyar University (2013–2015), and Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University (2016–2018). In recognition of her achievements, she was awarded gold medals in the District-Level Chief Minister’s Trophy Football Tournament in 2024 and 2025.
Senthil Kumar B has a background in History and holds a M.A, Master of Arts & Bachelor's degree in Physical Education B.P.Ed. has been a valued member of the TIPS family since 2015, serving as a Physical Education Teacher. Prior to joining TIPS, he gained 8 years of experience in a CBSE school in Salem, building a strong foundation in school sports education. At TIPS, he has coached the Under-11 and Under-13 soccer teams, guiding them in various inter-school and inter-district tournaments. His own sports journey began as a hockey player in school and expanded in college, where he represented his institution in cricket, hockey, football, badminton, and ball badminton. He also represented Periyar University as a South Zone hockey player for five consecutive years. Senthil is a trained Scout Master with Advanced Level certification and a certified football referee. He is deeply passionate about sports education and is committed to training and mentoring students to achieve athletic excellence, discipline, and strong character.
Shiny J is a PSPE Facilitator holding a B.E. (EEE) and a B.P.Ed, providing a strong academic foundation for her professional approach to physical and sports education. A national-level athlete, she has been an Individual Champion at zonal, district, and regional levels in the 100m, 200m, Long Jump, and Triple Jump. She has secured podium finishes at School State and Junior State levels, qualified for National-level competitions, and represented Anna University and Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University at All India Inter-University Athletics Meets. Shiny also holds the meet record in the 100m (12.2 seconds) at the Tamil Nadu Inter-Engineering Sports Meet and has been recognized with the Most Promising Sports Person Award, along with state-level podium finishes at the Chief Minister’s Trophy. With 7 years of teaching experience handling students from Grades 1 to 12, she is committed to holistic student development through structured, age-appropriate physical education. Her teaching emphasizes physical fitness, discipline, teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship, inspiring students to adopt a confident and lifelong approach to health and well-being.
Sumathi VS holds a B.Com and has completed the 6-week Summer Swimming Course from the National Institute of Sports (NIS). She is a dedicated Physical Education Teacher at TIPS, with 3 years of experience since joining in 2023. A passionate swimmer, Sumathi achieved 5th place in the Chief Minister’s Trophy and has participated in national-level swimming championships, demonstrating excellence and commitment in her sport. Since joining TIPS, she has been committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment, empowering students to move, learn, and grow. M. P. Raghu Raman is the Performance Arts Team Head and Dance Faculty with over 15 years of experience in dance education and student performance training. He specialises in Western dance styles, particularly Hip-Hop grooves and Traditional Folk styles, and is passionate about nurturing creativity, discipline, and confidence in students through performing arts.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with Computer Applications and a Master of Business Administration. He also brings professional experience from the BPO and Finance sectors, which strengthened his organisational and coordination skills. He later transitioned into education and now leads the CAS and Performance Arts programmes, contributing to student development through structured arts education and event coordination.
Committed to continuous professional growth, he regularly participates in dance workshops conducted by renowned artists and professional training programmes. As part of his IB journey, he has completed the IB PYP Category 1 Training – Making the PYP Happen, and actively engages in internal and external professional development workshops to enhance student learning experiences. Overall, he has organized event props preparation, stage setups, dance and music performances, and other school events, ensuring smooth execution and high-quality student showcases.
Mr. Ashok Josis F is a dedicated and experienced Music Educator with over 20 years of teaching experience, specialising in Piano and Vocal training. He has successfully completed Grade 5 in Piano and holds a Diploma in Classical Vocal Music, reflecting his strong foundation in both instrumental and vocal music traditions. His teaching approach emphasises the development of strong technical skills, musical expression, and theoretical understanding, enabling students to build confidence and discipline in their musical journey.
He has extensive experience in preparing students for Trinity College London Piano Examinations, successfully mentoring learners up to Grade 8 level through structured learning pathways and consistent performance training. Through his student-centred teaching methodology, he inspires learners to achieve musical excellence while nurturing a lifelong appreciation for music and performance.
Ms. B. Monika Priya is a dedicated educator and accomplished performing artist with a strong academic foundation and professional training in classical dance. She holds B.A. and M.A. degrees in English, along with a B.Ed., reflecting her expertise in language education and effective teaching methodologies. She has also completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Bharatanatyam, demonstrating her commitment to preserving and promoting Indian classical dance traditions. She integrates her academic knowledge and artistic passion to create a dynamic and culturally enriching learning environment for students.
She has actively performed in numerous cultural and stage productions, showcasing her proficiency in Bharatanatyam and her deep understanding of classical performance aesthetics. Her strengths include strong communication and teaching skills, choreography, creative content development, and student mentoring. Mr. Dhavithukumar is a passionate and versatile music educator with over 10 years of experience in instrumental training. He specialises in Keyboard instruction and has successfully prepared students for Trinity College London examinations up to Grade 7, demonstrating his expertise in structured music education and performance preparation. His teaching emphasises technical accuracy, music theory, rhythm control, and expressive performance, helping students build confidence and musical discipline.

He has also contributed to art and design projects in the film industry, working collaboratively on large-scale creative productions, including projects related to the movie 2.0 and other film and advertisement works. Gokul N M is an experienced dance educator and choreographer with over eight years of expertise in teaching diverse dance forms and nurturing students’ artistic growth. Currently serving as a Western Dance Tutor at The Indian Public School, Salem, he conducts engaging classes for students from primary to senior grades, specializing in hip-hop and contemporary styles. His teaching philosophy emphasizes strong technique, creativity, confidence, and self-expression, helping students discover and develop their unique artistic voice.
Gokul has choreographed numerous performances for annual day celebrations, inter-school competitions, and cultural programs, blending discipline with dynamic stage presentation. Mohammed Aasif Iqbal, M.Sc. in Visual Communication, is a seasoned media professional and educator with over ten years of experience in cinematography, media production, and academic leadership. His creative portfolio includes cinematography for numerous events and the production of ten short films, many showcased at film festivals, alongside exhibits at art exhibitions. Aasif has also demonstrated his commitment to social service as a member of the National Service Scheme (NSS). His academic journey spans roles as Assistant Professor at Boston College, Department Head at Cluster Media College, and Creative Head at Lore Media, where he honed his leadership and creative skills. Since 2020, Aasif has been an integral part of The Indian Public School, Erode and Salem campuses as a Media Facilitator. Over the years, her musical journey has been marked by several awards and honours celebrating her contribution to Carnatic music. She is a recipient of the “Ganakalpatharu” Award and the “Kalai Valammai” Award, and has also been conferred with the esteemed title “Thenn Isai Arasi.”

With over 12 years of experience as a Senior Organist in Salem, he has composed music for a 150-voice mass choir and has trained students for Trinity College London graded examinations in Piano, Violin, and Guitar. T. Karthikeyan is a dedicated and experienced dance educator, choreographer, and the Founder & Managing Director of ABCD Dance Studio, Salem. With over 15 years of professional experience, he has taught and mentored dancers of all ages. Currently associated with The Indian Public School, Salem. While pursuing his BFA, he was recognized with the Best Student Watercolor Award at Pondicherry College, highlighting his early talent and commitment to the arts. He has worked in the painting department of BOT VFX, and has served as an assistant to the chairmen of both the National Lalit Kala Academy, Nagadas, and the Kerala Lalit Kala Academy, gaining invaluable insights into the professional art world.
